“Meet Kit” by: Valerie Tripp

This is the 1st book in the American Girl Kit series by Valerie Tripp.

Recommended Age: 8

Description: Kit's world turns upside down when Mother's friends come to stay with them and Dad loses his business. Will life ever be the same again?

My Rating: 5/5

I love the Kit series! There are so many great traits of these books for young girls and even adults to follow and learn from!

I love that Kit’s parents talk about their problems first as a couple and then to the rest of the family. The only thing I would add would be prayed (both between the parents and then the entire family). Overall, though, Tripp writes a great outline for couples/families to follow.
